Smith Wesson Special Tactical CKTACBS 8.1in High Carbon S.S. F:our editors and writers thoroughly evaluate all the latest product that come through our independent lab. This is the second Samp;W knife I've own. Both have quality issues. Both knives required oiling to stop squeaking while opening. Every other knife I've purchased has come pre oiled and didn't required re-oiling so often. Thought my old Samp;W knife was defective, but now think it's just how they design their knifes. After oiling they open smoothly and still stay closed while in my pocket. This knife came with a thumb stud improperly attached. It was installed cross-threaded. It's crooked with visible gap on one side where it should contact the blade. It also only has a thumb stud on the left side making opening it left handed difficult. Can't change the side the stud is on. Even if the threads weren't striped on mine, it would hit the lock if you put it on the other side of the blade. Very disappointing. The handle came with melted plastic where a piece of hot metal must have touched it. With a file I've managed to smooth it out, but it will always be a viable defect. The handle shape is the best part of this knife. Fits my hand well.Knife wasn't very sharp when shipped. Don't know how well it will maintain an edge yet, but old Samp;W knife kept an edge better than the other cheap knives I've owned. The serrated section is longer than I would like(equal length to straight section), and much more aggressive than it looked in pictures. It snags on cardboard. Like having a small serrated section for cutting rope, but on this knife it interferes more than helps.I wouldn't purchase this blade again, and will be staying away from any Samp;W knives in the future. Other cheap imported knives have better quality control.san antonio mall, san jose mall, shipping includedSmith Wesson Special Tactical CKTACBS 8.1in High Carbon S.S. F

About this web site

Before there was a Wikipedia there was a theodora.com, with thousands of informational pages on many topics.

This web site was started in 1997 as a mirror to immigration-usa.com, a US immigration software business web site, and named after the owner's daughter Theodora Coutsoukis. From software sales and then merchandise, the web site eventually developed into an informational web site consisting of millions of pages.

Owned by ITA, Photius Coutsoukis's company, and an internet pioneer since the early 1990's, the web site was transformed as a consequence of the way the Internet developed, and the way people used it.

While trying to sell software online, the owner quickly realized that users were browsing the Internet for information, and that the key to attracting visitors, i.e., prospective customers, was to make a lot of relevant information available to them.

So, the first set of informational pages dealt with US immigration, a topic relevant to sales of ITA's immigration software. Then came other information of international interest, such as Flags of All Countries, the world's first flags website. Inquiries from users lead to setting up a flag sales web site.

Within a few years, as more and more informational web pages were developed, and because of the great popularity of its pages, the company changed its emphasis from selling software and merchandise to selling advertising.

In short, ITA evolved into a publisher, deriving most of its revenue from advertising sales.

Today, theodora.com is one of a network of tightly knit informational web sites that contain vast amounts of information. A primary portal for these is Countries Of The World.
